God put His hand on the lives of several church members, directing them to share the good news of salvation, through the prison ministry.
One LCC Member says it this way, “Jesus loves us, and all men, so much. It compels us to go and share that message. That’s why we go into the prison.” Testimonies are given and encouraging scriptures are shared from the Gospel:
- "If God be for us, who can be against us"? Rom. 8:31
- "I am come that they might have , and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10
Our Church name is Life Community; this outreach is one way we bring the Word of life to our community.
Partnering with Ambassadors for Christ Fellowship is also a channel for the LCC prison ministry outreach. It’s all about loving our neighbor and serving our creator. Many hours are spent sitting with inmates and showing them, through the scripture, how to renew their thinking. Telling them that God still loves them and that He doesn’t want them in bondage in any area of their life. This is all done in Jesus Name.
"For in Him we live, and move, and have our being." Acts 17:28
According to Acts 26:18 We are sent to open their eyes in order to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sin and inheritance among those who are set apart by faith in God.
